Define Interpret Prototype Produce
We are a group of experts from different backgrounds operating at the intersection of culture, creativity, and research. Our work focuses on projects that demand thoughtful definition, interpretation, prototyping, and production.
DIPP was established in 2021 by Rana Zureikat along with Dalal Al Yafei and their collaborators, emerging from a deep engagement with making as a form of thinking. The practice developed through projects that required navigating between evidence and interpretation, experimentation and delivery. Over time, DIPP evolved into a studio framework that embraces collaboration and supports creative projects through iterative and collective processes.
Rana Zureikat is the creative lead of the studio. She is an architect, maker, and heritage specialist whose work spans cultural and creative production. Her practice includes research, design, making, strategy, documentation, interpretation, and experimental methodologies. Alongside her studio work, she has led and contributed to strategic initiatives for both public and private institutions, developed interpretive resources for museums and heritage sites, and held academic and teaching positions. Her approach is shaped by sustained interdisciplinary collaboration, experimental processes, and a careful translation of research into spatial, material, and cultural outcomes.
